Lisa is a Unit Stills, Advertising, Portrait & Reportage photographer based in the UK. She has a passion for shooting behind the scenes imagery with a strong cinematic narrative.
Client list includes BBC, Screen Yorkshire, Rapha, Times, Telegraph, Cyclist, Working Title, Old Hall Films, Redbreast Productions, Westmorland Sheepskin.
Her first film set was assisting Jack English on Darkest Hour with Gary Oldman and she has been shooting stills, bts, portaits & poster images on shorts, features and documentaries ever since with A-list actors & oscar winning producers.
She works closely with Screen Yorkshire, a film & tv investment company based in Leeds shooting their development programme & skills training sessions and also delivering panel talks & workshops across 20 colleges & universities in their Connected Campus programme.
She builds a quick and trusted rapport with subjects and is as happy shooting unobtrusively or directing a portrait session from single portraits to large group images. Lisa works fast and within time constraints.
She studied French & Spanish at Newcastle Uni followed by Photography at Northumbria Uni & renowned art college Central St Martins in London. She spent eight years in London as a picture editor on magazines including Instyle, Guardian, Telegraph & BA Highlife. The languages (French, Spanish, Italian, German & a little bit of Greek) and the Picture Editing background both come in useful.
